This job serves both as an overnight security position and as a night porter who assists guests with their luggage and with some shuttle driving. Shifts are 10pm-6am or 11pm-7am. 

Job Summary

Responsible for the safety and security of guests, workers and hotel building. Crime prevention, surveillance, door locking, control of restricted areas. Initiating or maintaining policies and procedures foe general safety and security.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Patrols all sections of property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security. Interviews, investigates, and documents all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy.
• Responsible for the safety and well being of guests and fellow employees.
• Protect company assets.
• Patrols interior to secure doors as needed, check emergency exits, and report safety hazards.
• Maintains knowledge of safety and emergency preparedness plans and responds to Hotel codes.
• Provide accurate documentation regarding claim checks, vehicle damage, statements, and conditions that require attention and/or repair.
• Provide timely and knowledgeable service.
• Enforces all company policies and procedures.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons..
• Stop suspicious people and ask for identification
